Chinese Cuisine
The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.
Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.
There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.

Food was really pretty terrible, lacking in all departments. Meat was below average and basically I wasn't sure my beef was even beef. The chicken tasted watered down or something soggy. Asked for meals extra spicy and they turned out bland and mild instead. Really disappointed because I chose this place based on reviews :'/ The steamed rice was good but the fried rice was basically just steamed rice with soy sauce, no veggies or fried egg, nada. Pretty disappointing, I was really craving Chinese

I wanted Chinese for dinner and this place is literally down the street from my place so I thought I'd try it out. The establishment looked like a hole in the wall from the outside, but the inside was decent. Business was slow so I was able to order right away. I ordered broccoli beef with fried rice and teriyaki chicken with steamed rice. The food was delicious and the portions for each entree were able to feed at least 2 people. The guy who took my order was very nice and had my food ready in about 10 minutes. I rated First Wok 4 stars only because idk what my dine in experience would be like while it's crazy busy, but I'm sure I'll write an updated review then because I'm definitely going back!

I haven't had a thing here that I dislike. The food is always so good. Salty, but so good. The portions are great and if I wanted to be nice, I could share with someone, but I don't like to. When I'm craving Chinese, this is my go to place.

Not sure where the rest of you went. I sure didn't have same experience. Food was tiny notch above take out. Guess I expected more.

I go here one every other week for lunch. Lunch specials are really good. You get a choice of soup, entree with fried or steamed rice and choice of fried wontons or eggroll....all for under 7 bucks.

I agree this is one of the best Chinese restaurants in Colorado Springs. A great value - lots of food reasonably priced. Jennifer is very friendly and remembers what her customers order. You don't get that very often any more. It's a casual place -you don't go there for the ambiance, you go there for the food.
